Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Acquainting Generations with Iraq's History Entrenches Unity Value, Sacrifices Role to Preserve it
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, visited the guesthouse of Al-Barifkani family, the guesthouse of Sheikh Mamoun Al-Barifkani, and met with a gathering of the family's sheikhs, dignitaries, and members, along with figures from Dohuk Governorate, expressing his happiness at visiting Al-Barifkani family in the city of Dohuk, noting that the purpose of the visit was to engage with the families and clans of Iraqi Kurdistan, recalling the stance of Imam Al-Hakeem (may his soul be sanctified) in defending the Kurdish people and his rejection of the authorities' characterization of the Kurds at the time, as Imam Al-Hakeem's stance held that fighting the Kurdish people was forbidden, affirming that Imam Al-Hakeem (may his soul be sanctified) paid the price of that stance at the hands of the unjust authorities of the time, and affirming the continuation of this relationship with Shaheed Al-Mihrab and Aziz Al-Iraq (may their souls be sanctified).
Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed that Iraq has rid itself of the odious dictatorship irreversibly, noting that bearing the responsibility of governing the country is a divine blessing, stressing national unity and the expression of continuous engagement and instilling this in future generations, calling for acquainting generations with the previous era, and clarifying the value of unity and connection, and the role of pure blood in preserving Iraq and its people.
H.E. affirmed that differences of viewpoint are to be expected and natural, calling for resolving issues through dialogue and understanding, adhering to the logic of candor, and preserving national unity.
