Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Al-Araji, Stresses Security Readiness, Tackling Cyber Threats, Support National Stability
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met this morning with the National Security Advisor, Mr. Qasim Al-Araji, where they discussed the security challenges surrounding Iraq and ways to address them in a manner that safeguards the country and reinforces the state of security and social stability it is experiencing.
His Eminence called for updating plans, programs, and research that contribute to addressing issues before they arise, highlighting the importance of supporting security institutions with the necessary vision and ideas to advance the security landscape.
H.E. emphasized the importance of adhering to the Constitution, which stipulates that Iraq must not serve as a corridor, base, or launching point for threats against neighboring countries. H.E. also stressed Iraq’s openness to all and its commitment to fostering the best relations based on shared interests and the preservation of national sovereignty.
H.E. further affirmed that a significant portion of the security challenge is cyber-related, emphasizing the need to confront it with advanced capabilities, continuous training, and development, while highlighting the importance of harnessing youth potential in this field.
