Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Electoral Entitlements Completion, Enhance Coordination Framework Unity
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met this evening, Thursday, February 12, 2026, at his office in Baghdad with a delegation from Badr Organization led by Mr. Mohammed Al-Askari.
The meeting focused on completing the remaining electoral milestones, particularly the election of the President of the Republic and the formation of the government. His Eminence reiterated the importance of maintaining full security, military, and intelligence readiness to address any potential emergencies, commending the current efforts and preparations.
H.E. also highlighted the significance of unity within the Coordination Framework, describing it as a key foundation for stability. H.E. stressed the need to institutionalize the Framework’s work and ensure it operates as a cohesive and structured body in fulfilling the legislative and executive responsibilities of its member blocs.
