Sayyid Al-Hakeem Stresses Constitutional Entitlements Completion, Coordination Framework Unity
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, welcomed the Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl Al-Haq Movement, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, at His office in Baghdad this morning. The talks focused on recent political developments in Iraq and the wider region.
H.E. reiterated the need to move forward with completing the remaining constitutional obligations, particularly settling the issue of the three presidencies, in a way that strengthens political stability and reinforces the country’s democratic process.
H.E. emphasized the importance of maintaining unity within the Coordination Framework and consolidating its institutional foundations, noting that such unity is essential for Iraq’s stability, as demonstrated by experience in the previous period.
H.E. also highlighted the importance of regional stability, calling for dialogue as the primary approach to resolving outstanding disputes among different parties, in a manner that promotes security and stability across the region.
