Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Islamic Appointment bestows honor, recognition when a servant merits divine acknowledgment

During the Annual Islamic Appointment Ceremony for a select group of our cherished daughters at Imam Ali (peace be upon him) schools in Najaf Al-Ashraf, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, expressed gratitude to the school administration and staff for their steadfast dedication in organizing this annual event for 19 years on 24/4/2024. His Eminence underscored the importance of good upbringing and clarified that "Taklif" (Islamic Appointment) entails not just addressing individuals but also bestowing honor and recognition when a servant merits divine acknowledgment. H.E. emphasized that such responsibilities should align with one's capabilities, as Allah does not burden anyone beyond their capacity. This concept also embodies respect and fulfills divine will, whether through action or restraint.
H.E. urged our entrusted daughters to adhere to Allah's commandments and avoid prohibitions while highlighting the significance of reaching maturity, which is synonymous with discernment between obligations and prohibitions. Furthermore, H.E. emphasized understanding the basis of following to determine the religious ruling from the scholar.
H.E. illustrated that our message to the entrusted daughters centered on obedience, understanding the distinction between permissible and impermissible actions, and the importance of observing religious practices such as fasting, prayer, and cleansing, hijab, honor, and seeking Allah's assistance in obedience.
H.E.'s message to parents and guardians stressed the importance of safeguarding, nurturing, and educating children in obedience to Allah without diminishing the importance of their worship. H.E. emphasized the significance of early education and gradual upbringing leading up to the age of appointment, ensuring that individuals are adequately prepared. Additionally, H.E. called for vigilant supervision and encouragement of obedience among children. In our third message we addressed the educational faculty, H.E. emphasized the necessity of providing an optimal environment for implementing teachings and worship, fostering communication with parents and guardians, creating motivational programs, and promoting healthy competition to encourage children to fulfill their duties. Finally, H.E. extended best wishes for success and acceptance of their efforts by Allah.
