Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Current Challenges Carry Opportunities That Must Be Discovered, Harnessed to Serve Homeland
During a meeting with a large group of female organizational leaders of Al-Hikma National Movement on Baghdad’s Rusafa side, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, valued the efforts made in adopting and defending the Al-Hikma national project, explaining the nature of the circumstances the country is going through and the opportunities they carry, and pointing to the noble verse:
“Surely with [that] hardship comes [more] ease.” (94:06 Holy Quran),
which affirms that ease accompanies hardship. H.E. explained that opportunities and challenges are directly related: the more challenges increase, the more opportunities widen, noting that discovering and investing opportunities requires insight.
H.E. affirmed that achievements are not made without toil and fatigue, explaining that we have in the prophets a good example, as they were the most exposed to affliction, and the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was the most exposed of them to challenges, trials, and harm, pointing to what is stated in the noble hadith: “No prophet was harmed as I have been harmed.” H.E. stressed the need for high resolve to attain standing and accomplishments, affirming that lofty aspiration strengthens a person’s ability to achieve their goals.
H.E. affirmed the need to stand with the truth and adopt the right vision that achieves the interests of people and country, pointing out that the Al-Hikma project and its approach, particularly the approach of moderation, represent the project capable of bringing people to safety, achieving their interests, and improving their conditions. H.E. stressed the need to hold on to this project, take pride in it, and defend it, and to get to know it more deeply, contributing to explaining it and clarifying its features to people, particularly those who are confused and whose picture has become blurred due to the scale of the targeting this project faces.
H.E. explained the importance of sincere intentions and of acting for the sake of Allah the Almighty in all deeds, in order to attain success and support from Him, the Almighty and Exalted, clarifying that serving people is among the shortest routes to Allah, and pointing to the importance of clarity in setting goals and vision.
H.E. stressed the need to take pride in the approach of moderation and the honor of belonging to this blessed line, the line of martyrs and bright history, which led the march of sacrifice for more than a century and offered dozens of martyrs.
