Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls to Activate Mosques’, Husseiniyas’ Communication Role, Sound Upbringing
At the opening of the Talaqani Sayyids Husseiniya in Babil Governorate, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, congratulated those present on the birth of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Askari (PBUH), pointing to the Imam's noble life and how he prepared the people for the Occulted Imam (may Allah the Almighty hasten his reappearance). H.E. called for pride and honor in the blessed religious authority, reminding those present of the pillars that safeguard Iraq, namely the religious authority, the Husseini rituals, and the Iraqi tribes. H.E. pointed to Najaf's celebration of one thousand years of the religious authority, noted the enemies' efforts to strike the triad that has protected Iraq, and commended the efforts of the people of Babil in serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (PBUH).
H.E. explained the importance of mosques and Husseiniyas in uniting the word, fostering communication among people, and spreading love and good relations, urging the performance of congregational prayer and benefiting from religious lectures and lessons. H.E. also called for preserving social bonds and endearing children to mosques and Husseiniyas in order to achieve a sound upbringing for future generations, and expressed optimism about Iraq's future and about turning challenges into opportunities, including the challenge of ISIS terrorism, which was eradicated by the grace of Allah, the fatwa of the religious authority, and the believers' response to it.
