Sayyid Al-Hakeem Urges Al-Hikma Leaders to Clarify, Explain,, Serve the Iraqi People

His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance and Leader of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a large gathering of organizational leaders in the holy city of Al-Kadhimiya, congratulating them on the blessed birth anniversary of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and the birth of Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq (PBUH), and offering condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Shaheed Al-Mihrab (may Allah sanctify his secret).
H.E. called for drawing lessons from the biography of the Noble Prophet (PBUH), which was marked by traits rarely found in any other figure, pointing to the need to reflect on his assumption of responsibility, and how he prioritized the public interest and the elevation of religion over any other interest or consideration, citing the incident of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, and how the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) made use of it to consolidate and spread Islam, and to address the empires surrounding the Arabian Peninsula.
H.E. called for exercising forbearance and not giving others the opportunity to target Al-Hikma National Movement's project through side conflicts, along with the importance of focusing on the national project and the interest of Iraq and its political system, placing on Al-Hikma leaders the responsibility of clarifying, explaining, and elaborating on their project, and the need to distinguish between those with private agendas who deliberately target it, and those who have been confused due to incorrect information, stressing the importance of managing Iraq's relations according to the principle of balance, in a way that achieves Iraq's national interest.
H.E. also called for pride in Al-Hikma project, its history, symbols, and leaders, stressing the importance of showcasing its identity and introducing it to others, and the transition from the stage of expansion to the stage of influence, through applying the logic of Al-Hikma National Movement in engaging with the national situation and the developments of events, affirming the importance of serving the sons of the Iraqi people.
H.E. recalled the positions of Imam Al-Hakeem (may Allah sanctify his secret) on nationalism, support for Islam, and support for the Palestinian cause.
H.E. stressed the importance of diversifying the Iraqi economy, and diversifying Iraqi oil export outlets through the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, pointing to the importance of the Development Fund in supporting investments and development projects and providing job opportunities.
H.E. affirmed the importance of Shia nationalism, explaining that the Shia are united by their creed and loyalty to Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT), while they are united in nationalism within their own countries, alongside their partners in the homeland, in addition to the intellectual diversity within Shia society, which makes doctrinal commitments one thing and national commitments another, with no contradiction or conflict between the two.
H.E. also touched on the project of consolidating weapons under state authority, affirming that it is a national Iraqi project, and that weapons are handed over to the Popular Mobilization Forces as an official security institution.
