Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls to Diversify Economy Through Agriculture, Industry, Tourism, Investment, Technology

During his meeting with a gathering of organizational leaderships of Al-Hikma National Movement in Dhi Qar Governorate, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance and Leader of Al-Hikma National Movement, commended the great efforts exerted by Al-Hikma's organizations, particularly in Dhi Qar of giving and martyrs, in defending the project and serving the people, pointing to the millions-strong presence at the Arbaeen pilgrimage and the state of generosity and hospitality that distinguishes Iraqis, where they wrote the most splendid scenes of giving, noting that after every Arbaeen pilgrimage we emerge with a psychological rehabilitation cycle and a resetting of mistakes, and the start of a new page.
H.E. also offered congratulations on the advent of the month of Rabi' Al-Awwal, the month of the birth of the Master of Creation, the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him and His Family), and his grandson Imam Jaafar bin Mohammed Al-Sadiq (PBUT), explaining that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was the most afflicted with trials among the prophets, and in that lies an important lesson: that taking up responsibility and bearing it exposes the one who takes it up to campaigns of targeting and discrediting, and the one who takes up responsibility cannot be immune from targeting, and the greater the scope of responsibility taken up, the greater the level of targeting, noting the necessity of clarification, explanation, and elucidation, and untangling what has become confused for people, and H.E. affirmed that Al-Hikma's share of targeting was the greatest as a result of the scale of its influence, history, giving, and activity, stressing the necessity of confronting that with more fieldwork, activity, and service to the people.
H.E. pointed to the importance of the service aspect due to its close connection to Al-Hikma and the philosophy of its existence, and to working on embracing others and influencing them, reaffirming the principle that "leadership is influence," where the relationship between the two is a direct one.
Regarding the economic situation, Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the necessity of drawing lessons from this crisis, and working seriously toward diversifying sources of income through the five pillars of agriculture, industry, tourism, investment, and technology, in addition to diversifying oil export outlets, noting that Iraq is a country rich in great resources that is suffering a cash liquidity crisis as a result of the halt in oil exports due to its exposure to current events.
H.E. concluded his remarks by reaffirming his support for combating corruption, stressing the necessity of its continuation, along with the importance of focusing on major files.
