dSayyid Al-Hakeem Urges Al-Hikma Members to Transform Presence into Influence 

His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance and Leader of Al-Hikma National Movement, today, Saturday, August 8, 2026, met with a gathering of organizational leaders from Al-Hikma National Movement in Babil Governorate, discussing with them developments on the political and organizational scene, the demands of the coming phase, and mechanisms for strengthening the Movement's presence and influence in the governorate.
H.E. affirmed that political work, despite the challenges, risks, targeting, and rumors surrounding it, remains an honorable endeavor when its goal is serving the people and achieving the public interest, citing the vision of Shaheed Al-Mihrab (may Allah sanctify his secret) for political work, and stressing the importance of steadfastness in the face of smear campaigns and accusations, and not being drawn into attempts to undermine the political project.
H.E. noted that Al-Hikma National Movement has proven its integrity through its positions and practices, and that the targeting it faces reflects the scale of its influence and presence, reviewing a number of events, conferences, and initiatives carried out by the Movement in various governorates.
H.E. stressed that the coming phase requires moving from a phase of expansion to a phase of influence, such that every member of the Movement is capable of influencing their social and professional environment, calling for Al-Hikma National Movement's identity to be shown clearly and confidently, and for no hesitation in declaring affiliation with the project, while stressing at the same time the need to develop media performance to counter disinformation and smear campaigns, and to convey the true picture of the Movement's activity and positions to public opinion.
On government affairs, H.E. addressed the economic and service-related challenges facing the country, noting that the current economic crisis has been affected by external factors and regional and international repercussions, in addition to the effects of the halt in oil exports. H.E. also pointed to the impact of the halt in gas supplies on electric power production, affirming the need to deal with these challenges with a spirit of national responsibility.
H.E. renewed his support for the principle of placing weapons under state institutions, noting that this would strengthen the power of the state, reinforce its prestige, and create a more stable environment for investment and development.
H.E. also renewed his support for the anti-corruption path, affirming the importance of its continuation according to fair and transparent standards.
