Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Prime Minister, Stresses Leveraging Crises to Achieve Fundamental Reforms
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received at his office in Baghdad His Excellency the Prime Minister Mr. Ali Al-Zaidi, and the two sides exchanged condolences on the occasion of the Arba'een anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), commending all the efforts made for the success of this Husseini ritual, such as the security, health, and logistical efforts, the Husseini processions, and the efforts of transportation and providing food supplies for this large number of pilgrims from Iraq and various countries of the world.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed the importance of addressing the financial crisis by shifting toward diversifying sources of income and activating productive sectors, noting that crises carry within them great opportunities to proceed with fundamental reforms, and stressing the activation of the agriculture, industry, tourism, investment, and modern technology sectors, and benefiting from Iraqi capabilities and expertise in this field, commending the government's direction toward diversifying crude oil export outlets, and stressing the necessity of establishing genuine partnerships with countries of the region and the world in accordance with the country's supreme interest.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem called for completing the government cabinet and appointing competent ministers capable of advancing the tasks of their ministries and translating the government's direction in line with its government program, urging the political blocs to finalize their choices and expedite the naming of candidates and granting them confidence within the Parliament.

The Head of the State Powers Alliance renewed his support for the government's reform path and its efforts in combating corruption, stressing the necessity of targeting major files without selectivity, along with the importance of drying up sources of corruption through e-governance and reducing human involvement in transactions.
