Sayyid Al-Hakeem Stresses Regional, International Openness to Support Iraq’s Development
As part of his visit to Al-Muthanna Governorate, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with a large gathering of the organizational leadership of Al-Hikma National Movement in Al-Muthanna Governorate.
At the outset of the meeting, H.E. extended his blessings to those present on the auspicious Eid Al-Ghadeer and the blessed days, explaining that Ghadeer is the Eid of Wilaya for Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT), by the text of the Holy Quran and the direction of Allah, the Almighty, Who made the proclamation of Ghadeer the cause for the completion of the religion and the perfection of divine grace.
H.E. affirmed that empowering the project of moderation and centrism serves the people and brings stability to the country, noting that Iraq has overcome its security and political challenges, yet is today experiencing an economic and financial crisis. H.E. explained that reading this crisis contributed to the designation of brother Ali Al-Zaydi as a businessman and economist, and called for genuine solutions that address problems at their root while taking into account Iraq's population growth. H.E. stipulated that achieving this requires forging qualitative partnerships with active stakeholders, opening Iraq up to its regional and international environment, and embracing all Iraqi components to achieve sustainable development.
H.E. concluded the meeting by calling on the organizational leadership to acquaint themselves with Al-Hikma's project and to promote it through direct engagement with the layers of society, and to transform moderation and centrism into a national cause and a popular demand.
