Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Social and Tribal Cohesion Role to Protect Iraq
At the guesthouse of Sayyid Ali Salman Abu Tabikh in Al-Muthanna Governorate, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with a gathering of sheikhs and dignitaries. In his address, H.E. praised Iraq's social fabric and the spirit of popular and tribal cohesion, stating: "Unity of stance has contributed to confronting challenges — the crises have passed, and Iraq has endured."
H.E. also commended the efforts exerted in Al-Muthanna Governorate in the area of investment and its entry among the oil-producing governorates, noting that it will in the future have a border crossing. H.E. explained that regional developments have had an impact on Iraq, describing the situation as a transient crisis that will pass and after which Iraq will return to normal. H.E. called for an understanding of the country's financial situation, affirming that Iraq is a nation of considerable potential, yet is currently experiencing a liquidity shortage.
