Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Occupies Special Place, Demands Double Service Efforts
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received this evening at His Eminence office in Baghdad the Governor of Najaf Al-Ashraf, Eng. Yousef Kanawi.
During the meeting, His Eminence was briefed in detail on the current state of public services in the province and the progress achieved in this regard. H.E. stressed the need to intensify efforts to improve service delivery for citizens, highlighting the profound status Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf holds in the hearts of Iraqis as the city of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the center of the religious Authority and the Hawza.
H.E. also called for greater focus on districts and sub-districts to ensure services reach all segments of society, while underscoring the importance of granting provincial councils their full constitutional and legal powers, given their direct connection with citizens.
Furthermore, H.E. emphasized the need to invest in academic expertise through closer coordination with universities, particularly those based in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf province.
